Catherine is the Digital Strategist for the Communications team, based in New York City. Prior to joining ESCR-Net, Catherine conducted research and advocacy on media freedoms, politically motivated imprisonment, women’s rights, and LGBT rights, in Europe and Central Asia at Human Rights Watch. She is deeply committed to using digital tools and strategies in advancing rights work globally. She holds a Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University.
