El 19 de diciembre de 2022, la Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre Biodiversidad, celebrada en Montreal, concluyó con la adopción del “Marco Global sobre Biodiversidad Kunming-Montreal” (GBF, por sus siglas en inglés), un acuerdo(link is external) histórico sobre medidas consideradas fundamentales para hacer frente a la peligrosa pérdida de diversidad biológica y restaurar los ecosistemas naturales.

On 19 December 2022, the United Nations Biodiversity Conference, held in Montreal, ended with the adoption of the “Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework” (GBF), a landmark agreement on measures considered critical to address the dangerous loss of biodiversity and restore natural ecosystems.

في خضم أزمة ثلاثية الأبعاد تحيق بكوكب الأرض (تغيّر المناخ والتلوّث وفقدان التنوّع البيولوجي) وما تحمله من مخاطر وجودية وآثار مدمرة تمس الحقوق الإنسانية لمليارات البشر في شتى المناطق، يتسم الاعتراف العالمي الصادر في عام 2022 بحق الإنسان في بيئة نظيفة وصحية ومستدامة بأهمية خاصة.  قيل في هذا الحق إنه يوفر "حواجز أمان حيوية" في مواجهة انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان والضرر البيئي.

Au milieu d'une triple crise planétaire (changement climatique, pollution et perte de biodiversité), avec une crise aux enjeux existentiels et aux impacts dévastateurs pour les droits humains de milliards de personnes à travers les régions, la reconnaissance universelle en 2022 du droit humain à un environnement propre, sain et durable est particulièrement significative.

En medio de una triple crisis planetaria (cambio climático, contaminación y pérdida de biodiversidad) con riesgos existenciales e impactos devastadores para los derechos humanos de miles de millones de personas en todas las regiones del mundo, el reconocimiento universal en 2022 del derecho humano a un medio ambiente limpio, saludable y sostenible es especialmente significativo.

Amidst a triple planetary crisis (climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss) with existential stakes and devastating impacts for the human rights of billions of people across regions, the universal recognition in 2022 of the human right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment is particularly significant. The right  has been described as providing “vital guardrails” against human rights violations and environmental harm.

La Red-DESC (Red Internacional para los Derechos Económicos, Sociales y Culturales) celebra la absolución de miembros de Karapatan, la Alianza para el Avance de los Derechos del Pueblo, y sus aliados GABRIELA - Alianza Nacional de Mujeres - y los Misioneros Rurales de Filipinas (RMP) frente a los cargos de perjurio presentados contra ellos por las autoridades filipinas.

Le Réseau-DESC - Réseau international pour les droits économiques, sociaux et culturels célèbre l'acquittement des membres de Karapatan, - l'Alliance pour l'avancement des droits du peuple - et de leurs alliés GABRIELA - Alliance nationale des femmes - et les Rural Missionaries of the Philippines (RMP) face aux accusations de parjure portées contre eux par les autorités philippines.

ESCR-Net - International Network for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights celebrates the acquittal of members of Karapatan, - the Alliance for the Advancement of People’s Rights - and their allies GABRIELA - National Alliance of Women - and the Rural Missionaries of the Philippines (RMP) in the face of the perjury charges brought against them by the Philippine authorities.

Un espace d'apprentissage collectif, de participation et d'organisation diversifiée et régionale : tel était le Forum féministe de la XVe Conférence régionale sur les femmes qui s'est tenue à l'Espacio Memoria y Derechos Humanos (Ex ESMA) le 7 novembre à Buenos Aires, en Argentine.

Un espacio de aprendizaje, participación, construcción colectiva, diverso y regional; así es como se vivió el Foro Feminista de la XV Conferencia Regional de la Mujer que se realizó en el Espacio Memoria y Derechos Humanos (Ex ESMA) el 7 de noviembre en Buenos Aires, Argentina.
