The Berne Union

The International Union of Credit and Investment Insurers

The Berne Union (or the International Union of Credit and Investment Insurers) began in 1938 in Switzerland; however, together with its Prague Club of emerging ECAs, it now includes more than seventy ECAs, with a Secretariat based in London. The Berne Union promotes common principles for export credit and investment insurance.
