A Human Rights Response to the Economic Crisis in the US
It is clearly time to assess economic policy using the ethical lens of universally-recognized human rights standards. This panel will look at the impact of the economic crisis on the economic and social rights of people in the United States, and illustrate how a human rights framework is needed to analyze why the crisis was allowed to happen and what we can do about it.
