The High-level Dialogue on Financing for Development will be held from 23 to 24 October 2007 at UN Headquarters in New York, in compliance with GA resolution 61/191.
In the same resolution, the General Assembly also decided that the modalities for holding the 2007 High-level Dialogue will be the same as those used in the 2005 High-level Dialogue, as described in General Assembly resolution 59/293 of 27 May 2005. Hearings of civil society are scheduled for Monday, 22 October 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Hearings of the business sector are scheduled for Thursday, 11 October 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
