Realizing Women’s ESC Rights in Post-War Sri Lanka

The International Centre for Ethnic Studies in collaboration with the Programme on Women’s Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (PWESCR) is pleased to invite you to a panel discussion on ‘Realizing Women’s ESC Rights in Post-War Sri Lanka’ on the 25th of August, 2015 from 4-6 p.m. at the ICES auditorium, No.2, Kynsey Terrace, Colombo 8.

The purpose of the discussion is to facilitate an exchange between local human rights defenders and international human rights activists who will be attending the PWESCR Training of Trainers Programme in Colombo. 

Bhavani Fonseka, Shyamala Gomez, PriyaThangarajah and Sabrina Esufally will speak on some of the challenges in Sri Lanka and Ambika Satkunanathan will moderate the discussion.
