With this letter, addressed to the President of Guatemala and the presidents of the Constitutional Court and the Congress of the Republic, we demand to guarantee the transition of power in the country and to end the instrumentalization of the judicial power to undermine democracy.
En esta carta, dirigida al Presidente de Guatemala, y a los presidentes de la Corte de Constitucionalidad y del Congreso de la República, pedimos que se garantice la transición de poder en el país, y que se ponga fin a la instrumentalización del poder judicial para socavar la democracia.
A lo largo de los dos últimos años, decenas de miembros de la Red-DESC han participado en debates entre redes para elaborar el informe analítico "Construir una paz sostenible. Transformando las situaciones de conflicto para las mujeres". El informe sostiene que, al abordar las situaciones afectadas por los conflictos, es fundamental adoptar un enfoque feminista interseccional a través de un marco de derechos humanos, y ofrece siete lecciones y principios para orientar el trabajo sobre el terreno.

Au cours des deux dernières années, des dizaines de membres du réseau DESC se sont engagés dans des discussions inter-réseaux pour développer le rapport analytique "Building sustainable peace. Transforming conflit-affected situations for women". Le rapport soutient qu'en traitant les situations affectées par les conflits, il est vital d'adopter une approche féministe intersectionnelle via un cadre de droits humains, et fournit sept leçons et principes pour guider le travail sur le terrain.
Over the past two years, dozens of ESCR-Net members engaged in cross-network discussions to develop the analytical report “Building sustainable peace. Transforming conflict-affected situations for women.” The report argues that in dealing with conflict-affected situations, it is vital to adopt an intersectional feminist approach via a human rights framework, and provides seven lessons and principles to guide the work in the field.
