El 27 de abril de 2021, la Red-DESC coorganizó un debate en línea sobre los derechos a la tierra. Más de 50 representantes de organizaciones miembro de África, Asia, América Latina, Oriente Medio, Europa y América del Norte se reunieron virtualmente para aprender de las experiencias mutuas y fortalecer el análisis compartido y las narrativas comunes sobre la tierra, las injusticias históricas y las causas estructurales de las violaciones de los derechos humanos y del medio ambiente relacionadas con la tierra.

On 27 April 2021, ESCR-Net co-hosted an online discussion on land rights. Over 50 members from across Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe and North America, convened virtually to learn from each other’s experiences and strengthen shared analysis and common narratives on land, historical injustices and the structural causes of human rights and environmental violations related to land. The Networkwide Project on Environment & ESCR, Women & ESCR Working Group and the Economic Policy Working Group led on coordinating the virtual event.
منذ نشأ، يسلط الاقتصاد النسوي الضوء على الحاجة إلى إعمال الفهم الأوسع للاقتصاد والنظام الاقتصادي، الذي وبالإضافة إلى المجال الإنتاجي، فهو يشمل مجال إعادة إنتاج الحياة. على وجه الدقة، يشدد هذا التيار على أهمية أعمال الرعاية غير مدفوعة الأجر اللازمة لتطور ونمو الناس، ويمضي خطوة أبعد إذ يوضح كيف أن تقديم الرعاية هو في حقيقة الأمر احتياج اجتماعي، وهو يسمح بإعادة إنتاج الطبقة العاملة، التي هي بدورها مسؤولة عن خلق القيمة الاقتصادية في دائرة إعادة الإنتاج (أي إعادة إنتاج النظام الاقتصادي)
Depuis ses origines, l'économie féministe a mis en évidence le besoin d'avancer dans une conception plus large de l'économie et du système économique, qui, en plus de la sphère productive, prenne en compte la sphère reproductive. En particulier, ce courant souligne l'importance du travail des soins non rémunéré pour le développement des personnes, mais va plus loin en expliquant en quoi l’administration de soins est en réalité un besoin social, car elle permet la reproduction de la classe ouvrière, qui à son tour sera responsable de la création de valeurs économiques dans le domaine de la reproduction (c'est-à-dire de la reproduction du système économique).
Desde sus orígenes la economía feminista ha puesto de manifiesto la necesidad de avanzar en una concepción más amplia de la economía y el sistema económico, que además de la esfera productiva, tenga en cuenta a la esfera reproductiva. En particular, esta corriente señala la importancia del trabajo de cuidado no remunerado para el desarrollo de las personas, pero va un paso más allá explicando como la provisión de cuidado es en realidad una necesidad social, en tanto permite la reproducción de la clase trabajadora, que a su vez será la responsable de crear valores económicos en la esfera reproductiva (es decir, de reproducir el sistema económico).
From its origins, feminist economics has highlighted the need to advance in a broader conception of the economy and the economic system, which, in addition to the productive sphere, takes into account the reproductive sphere. In particular, this current points out the importance of unpaid care work for the development of people, but goes a step further by explaining how the provision of care is actually a social need, as it allows the reproduction of the working class, which in turn will be responsible for creating economic values in the reproductive sphere (that is, for reproducing the economic system).
À la suite de discussions au sein des membres du Réseau-DESC sur la justice climatique et environnementale et les droits de l'homme en relation avec la crise de la COVID-19, plusieurs membres ont co-écrit de courts articles dans ce contexte, notamment l'article suivant qui a été initialement publié sur Medium.
