Interventions du Réseau-DESC au Conseil des droits de l'homme 2021

Lors de la 47ème session du Conseil des droits de l'homme de cette année, les membres suivants Mihir Mankad (Center for Economic and Social Rights), Debbi Stothard (ALTSEAN-Burma), et Allana Kembabazi (Initiative for Social and Economic Rights) ont fait des interventions formelles au nom du Réseau-DESC.
Dans leurs interventions, les membres ont exhorté les États à se conformer à leur devoir de fournir un accès juste et équitable aux vaccins Covid 19 par le biais de la coopération internationale et du soutien à la dérogation ADPIC. Les membres ont également appelé à la responsabilisation des entreprises au-delà des principes directeurs volontaires des Nations Unies et ont exhorté les États à soutenir un instrument international fort et juridiquement contraignant pour réglementer le pouvoir des entreprises et les tenir responsables de leurs violations des droits humains.
