Jan. 20, 2011: Intensive Course on Justiciability of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights: Theory and Practice

The Institute for Human Rights, Abo Akademi University; Chair in Human Rights Law, Stellenbosch University Law Faculty, South Africa; and the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, University of Oslo are jointly organizing a Course on Justiciability of Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights: Theory and Practice. The course, which is being held on the 16th to the 20th of May 2011 in Turku/Abo, Finland, will provide participants with an expert-level of knowledge in the ESCR field. The course is conducted in English and will provide a Diploma and Certificate of Attendance upon completion. The class is limited to 40 students.

The application, which can be found in the attached PDF file, is due on the 11th of February, 2011. The course costs 700 euro (without lodging) or 900 euro for those who cannot make their own arrangements.  Scholarships are available at www.abo.fi/instut/imr/courses.htm.
