The side event "The Role of Statistical Information in Realizing Human Rights" has been organized for the launch by the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the publication,'Human Rights Indicators: A Guide to Measurement and Implementation'. As per the information provided in the attached flyer, a panel discussion will permit a sharing of insights from experts from the policy-making arena, national human rights institutions, civil society, statistical organisations and UN entities on the role of statistical information in realizing human rights. A limited number of printed copies of the Guide will be available at the event.
