On 28 September 2015, in celebrating the International Right to Know Day, the Center for Archives and Access to Public Information (CAinfo) launched a new website to monitor data on the right to health in Uruguay: www.salud.org.uy. Focusing on three topics of the right to health – mental health care, access to health care by persons with disabilities, and sexual and reproductive health of women, this new monitoring website will serve as a portal of relevant data and requests for data/information disclosure from public authorities. The website has been developed as part of the regional project “Information for Action” that seeks to advance the right to health through the right to access to public information. This regional project is being also implemented simultaneously in Argentina by the Civil Association for Equality and Justice (ACIJ).
