WITNESS and Viacom launch the campaign 'Witness the power of story'
The international human rights organization WITNESS announced the official launch of WITNESS THE POWER OF STORY, a campaign being coordinated in partnership with global media company Viacom.
By joining forces, the two organizations are bringing together the expertise of WITNESS in inspiring action through video and Viacom’s history of using media to influence positive change - a potent collaboration intended to inspire a new generation of visual storytellers to use video for the power of good. WITNESS has been working with Viacom to produce a series of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) communicating the power of storytelling in promoting social change.
WITNESS is also encouraging its supporters to participate in the campaign by sharing an inspiring story of impact on Instagram, and by using the hashtag #Story4Change. The stories will automatically be uploaded to the co-branded website, where it will be possible to see all of the posts from people who are joining the campaign to use storytelling for the power of good.
