Founded in 1979, OFRANEH works to represent and advocate for the interests of the Afro-Carib Garífuna minority in Honduras. OFRANEH has been building the Garífuna community's capacity for self-determination through programs, such as Building Garifuna Climate Change Adaptation Response and Defense of Land Rights, promoting their political, social, economic and cultural advancement.
