Video Volunteers is a media and human rights NGO that aims at equipping women and men in underdeveloped areas with video journalism skills, enabling entire communities to expose underreported stories from their communities and take action to right the wrongs of poverty, injustice and inequality. Video Volunteers launched its first community news service, IndiaUnheard, to empower a network of community correspondents who are trained to tell unique stories; stories about their own communities; stories which are otherwise left untold.
