If you are planning to assist the 4th UN Business and Human Rights Forum (16  - 18 November in Geneva), the app “Geneva Human Rights Agenda” could be of use to you. It will help you organise your agenda during this global encounter, and is available on iTunes (for iPhone and iPad) and on Google Play (for Android phones and tablets).

The app, developed by the International Network of Human Rights (RIDH), a member organisation of the ESCR-NET, gives a detailed overview of the human rights meetings  taking place in Geneva. You can synchronize the events of your interest with your personal mobile calendar, share the meeting information with your contacts, either via e-mail or through social media, giving them the exact time and place of the event, and consult all meeting related documents, as well as other features.

All meetings of the Forum, including side events organised by Civil Society Organisations (CSO), are available on this app. To get this information, when downloading the app please select the category “Human Rights Council HRC” in the settings, activate the sub-category “HRC-related meetings” select the under-category “Forum on Business and Human Rights” and tap on “done”. In this manner, all events related to the Forum will show in the calendar feature of the application.

Do not forget to activate the “notifications” in the settings to receive last minute information related to the selected categories, such as the cancellation of an event, or changes in the time or room of a meeting.
