Group of Friends of OP-ICESCR calls for ratification at the UN

At the 54th Session of the UN Commission for Social Development, the Group of Friends of the Optional Protocol to the International Convenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (OP-ICESCR) called on peer States to move forward in ratifying the OP-ICESCR .
In the statement, made public on February 4, the countries involved in the Group of Friends of the OP-ICESCR invited States that have not yet ratified the OP-CESCR to do so, and encouraged ratifying States to share their experiences on the implementation of this Covenant.
