Corporate Capture Project Survey

Background

Corporate capture refers to the means by which an economic elite undermine the realization of human rights and the environment by exerting undue influence over domestic and international decision-makers and public institutions. The Corporate Capture Project of the ESCR-Net Corporate Accountability Working Group challenges corporate capture by researching, raising awareness and supporting collective action to address this phenomenon.  This survey is part of research to deepen our understanding of how prevalent characteristics of corporate capture are and what strategies are being used by civil society to address them.
