Se réapproprier nos histoires
Le projet rassemble sept groupes de base d’Afrique subsaharienne, d’Europe, d’Asie et d’Amérique latine pour recueillir leurs propres données sur l’impact des entreprises sur les droits des femmes à la terre, au logement et aux ressources naturelles.
Trop souvent, les communautés locales, en particulier les femmes, sont exclues de la prise de décision concernant l’utilisation des terres où elles vivent, avec des effets dévastateurs sur les droits humains fondamentaux et l’environnement. Les processus de prise de décision concernant la terre, le logement et les ressources naturelles reposent souvent sur des « preuves tangibles » développées par des acteurs puissants tels que les États et les entreprises, plutôt que de refléter les perspectives et les priorités des communautés.
Au Réseau-DESC, nous pensons que les groupes et les communautés de base sont la voix légitime et les principauxexperts concernant les problèmes qui les affectent tels que l’inégalité, l’appauvrissement et l’injustice. Pour cette raison, en juin 2020, sous la direction d’un groupe consultatif de membres du Réseau-DESC, nous avons lancé notre premier projet pour soutenir les groupes de base, en particulier les femmes leaders, dans l’élaboration d’objectifs de recherche, méthodologies et outils, entreprendre des recherches sur le terrain, analyser les données et planifier les stratégies et les résultats de plaidoyer.

Au cours du projet, nous avons organisé plusieurs échanges en ligne pour partager les expériences de nos membres dans le développement et la mise en œuvre de la recherche communautaire. Dans cette section, vous trouverez des ressources et des outils utilisés pour soutenir le développement et la mise en œuvre de projets de recherche. Certaines de ces ressources ont été élaborées de manière collaborative par le groupe consultatif de ce projet, tandis que d’autres ont été mises à disposition par des membres individuels.
