Women Human Rights Defenders and the Struggle for Justice in Colombia

On 9 September 2009, a national and international campaign for the protection of Colombia's human rights defenders was launched in Bogotá by the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights Defenders, Margaret Sekaggya. ABColombia, Oidhaco and the U.S. Office on Colombia developed a joint report to support the campaign.  The report contains emblematic case studies which highlight the 5 key issues of concern.
