The Human Rights Committee (HRC) is the body of independent experts that monitors implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights by its State parties. All States parties are obliged to submit regular reports to the Committee on how the rights are being implemented.

During its 91st session, the HRC will consider the reports and country situations of the following countries: Georgia, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Austria, Costa Rica, Algeria, San Marino, Panama, Tunisia, United Kingdom.

The Committee will also consider a number of individual communications in closed meetings during the session.

Finally, Country Report Task Forces will consider and adopt list of issues on reports submitted by the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Georgia, Botswana, Algeria and Libya.
