This Joint Submission to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) by Defend Job Phillippines and the Global Initiative for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights is on the realization of the right to work and the enjoyment of all human rights by women, with an emphasis on the empowerment of women. The report depicts the inhumane condition of women working in sweatshops in the Philippines and includes personal testimonies of women workers.
