Centre de Recherche sur l’Environnement, la Démocratie et les Droits de l’Homme (CREDDHO)

The Center for Research on the Environment, Democracy and Human Rights (CREDDHO) aims to contribute progressively to universally established human rights, including socioeconomic rights, contributing research-action  to the stabilization of the Eastern DRC. CREDDHO works in the arenas of human rights (access to justice, combatting impunity, child protection and freedom from torture); the environment (natural resource governance, fomenting dialogues between local communities, civil servants and local authorities, particularly in mining-affected areas in a national park in North Kivu province) and democracy (promoting good governance and responsible citizenship).
