Asociación para el Desarrollo Integral de las Víctimas de la Violencia en las Veraces, Maya Achi (ADIVIMA)

The Asociación para el Desarrollo Integral de las Víctimas de la Violencia (ADIVIMA) was founded on April, 24 1994 in Las Verapaces, Guatemala, home to the Maya Achi people. ADIVIMA is a non-profit, grassroots, community-based organization formed by survivors of the severe human rights violations and acts of genocide committed against Guatemalan citizens during the internal armed conflict in the region of Las Verapaces, as well as parts of El Quiché.
