The Corporate Accountability Working Group seeks to defend human rights impacted by corporate activities by strengthening regulation and remedy and to confront the corporate capture of government decision-making and institutions. We promote legislation to ensure accountability for violations and abuses of human rights where corporate and economic elites are involved. We build tools for political education and raise awareness about how capital, corporate entities, and economic elites destroy the notion of democracy and undermine our rights. We work to change our dominant economic system and promote a world order that prioritizes people and the environment over profit.
