Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales (CELS)
Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales (CELS) is a non-governmental organization founded in 1979 to foster and protect human rights and to strengthen the democratic system and the state of law in Argentina.
Their objectives include reporting human rights violations; influencing the design of public policies based on respect for fundamental rights; promoting legal and institutional reforms to improve the quality of democratic institutions; and expanding the exercise of rights for the most vulnerable sectors of society.
