Mines, Minerals & People (mm&P) is a growing alliance of individuals, institutions and communities who are concerned and affected by mining. The isolated struggles of different groups have led mm&P to form into a broad and national alliance for combating the destructive nature of mining. They provide the followin services: support for local struggles; legal and media advocacy; dissemination of information, documentation, research and fact finding; develop campaign strategies; share skills; exchanges; national and international networking; and technical and scientific expertise.
