Observatori DESCA is a group of individuals and organizations created in 1998 with the objective to show that civil and political rights- freedom of speech, the right to life, to vote etc.- are not the only fundamental rights, but that economic, social, cultural, environment rights- the right to housing, work, education, health, food- are just as fundamental.
