Esther de la Rosa is a journalist with over 20 years of experience in communications. In the United States, before joining ESCR-Net, she served as the press manager for several cultural institutions and as the social media manager for TED en Español. Prior to moving to the U.S., she was actively involved in the community radio movement in Spain, advocating for women’s communication rights. She spent several years as a producer and host of a feminist radio program, focused on amplifying the voices of the feminist movement and fostering solidarity through communication with feminist movements and women’s organizations in Spain, Morocco, and Latin America. Additionally, she worked in Mexico as a reporter for a news wire agency specializing in gender issues.
Esther brings a holistic approach to communication, drawing on her experience as a creative copywriter in several Spanish advertising agencies—a skill she actively applies in her work at the Network. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid and a specialist degree in International Journalism and Global South Studies from the same institution.
