June 29 – July 1, 2025 | AC Hotel Sevilla Forum, Seville, Spain
We warmly invite you to visit and cover the exhibition “On Debt Row: The Impact of Debt on Lives in the Global South”, taking place at the Banquet Halls of the AC Hotel Sevilla Forum.
On Debt Row, an exhibition of art and resistance organized by the Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD), the International Network for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ESCR-Net), Debt for Climate Europe, former UN Independent Expert on Debt and Human Rights Juan Pablo Bohoslavsky, and Global South artists The O Home (Philippines) and Jairo Alvarez (Argentina), will take place from June 29 to July 1 at the AC Hotel Sevilla Forum.
The exhibition explores debt as a tool of political, cultural, and economic control that imposes daily sacrifices on women and marginalized communities in the Global South. Through murals, participatory installations, performance, and feminist analysis, the exhibition brings the technical language of debt into a public conversation grounded in resistance, memory, and demands for systemic change.
Organized by: APWLD, ESCR-Net (International Network for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights), Debt for Climate Europe, former UN Independent Expert on Debt and Human Rights Juan Pablo Bohoslavsky, and Global South artists The O Home (Philippines) and Jairo Álvarez (Argentina).
Artists, spokespeople, and experts will be available for interviews.
Refreshments will be offered at all events.
All events are free and open to the public with prior registration: Register here.
