This conference will examine non-violent ways of defending and promoting these rights, in order to achieve equality of opportunity, access to food and sustainable development. It will draw on the experience of grassroots mobilisation and other local organisation in a range of countries. As a professional or activist in the ﬁeld of global solidarity and human rights, your participation in this conference would enrich the general discussion and contribute to the global networking initiatives we plan as a follow-up.
