Dejusticia and Racial Discrimination Watch are launching the Prior Consultation Information Center, a platform for different actors interested in advancing the right to prior consultation to exchange experiences, obtain information, and create ideas to implement the right to free, prior, informed consultation and other rights of indigenous and Afro-descendant populations. The platform is available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

In the Prior Consultation Information Center it is possible to learn what prior consultation is and how it is regulated; download free videos and audio on the right to prior consultation; find opinion pieces written by activists, community leaders, and experts in indigenous peoples law; and keep up with emblematic cases regarding prior consultation. There is an interactive questionnaire that indigenous communities and activists may fill out to access laws and arguments from applicable international law. Additionally, users may access the largest global library on the right to prior consultation.

The Prior Consultation Information Center is interactive, so other activists, organizations, and researchers can add their opinion pieces, library materials, and media tools for others to access.
