We are delighted to announce Al-Haq (Palestine), Green Advocates (Liberia), Project on Organising, Development, Education and Research (Mexico) and Tebtebba (Philippines) as new Members of the Steering Committee of the Corporate Accountability Working Group (CAWG). The appointment of these exceptional organizations to the Committee reflects their importance and commitment to the mission of the Network, and the CAWG in particular.  With the appointment of a second Member from both the Middle East and West Africa regions, the Committee’s first from Meso-America, and a Member of distinguished expertise advocating for the rights of Indigenous Peoples, the new members further strengthen the knowledge base and diversity of the Steering Committee.

Every two years up to four members of the eleven-member Committee rotate out, making regular opportunities for other CAWG Members to join. The four newcomers join the following seven members that continue to serve on the Steering Committee: AltSEAN Burma (Thailand), Conectas Direitos Humanos (Brazil), EarthRights International (US/Thailand), Habi Center for Environmental Rights (Egypt), Justiça Global (Brazil), Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People-MOSOP (Nigeria), Murielle Mignot (Angola).
