RIDH seeks to contribute to strengthening the capacities of actors related to the promotion and protection of human rights, providing information, analysis, and technical support in the processes in which they participate; and to work as an intermediary in processes of advocacy and dialogue with the goal of having human rights be upheld in a given context. RIDH’s work UN human rights system consist in supporting non-governmental organizations, human rights defenders and coalitions involved in promoting human rights in Latin America. We support them by sharing information and defining strategies so they can interact within the system in the most effective way. Our goal is to improve the human rights situation in the region by offering new elements to debates and information that can be introduced as recommendations towards the concerned states.
