PPR organizes its Summer School on "Tools for Action" (Belfast, Jul 28-29, 2014)

Participation and the Practice of Rights (PPR) will hold their annual Summer School on 'Tools for Action' in The MAC, Belfast on Thursday, July 28th and Friday, July 29th. Founded in Belfast in 2006, PPR supports groups in using a unique Human Rights Based Approach on a number of ESCR issues. The Summer School sessions will run from 10am – 4pm each day and the curriculum will include: Human rights and change – how does it work?; Tools For Action: How communities can use human rights; Organizing grassroots groups; How change is won...and lost: the autonomy of a campaign; How power responds. Participants do NOT require previous experience of campaigning to attend the Summer School.
