Open Budget Survey Report (2012)
Summary: The results of the 2012 Open Budget Index (OBI), which the International Budget Partnership released last month. The Open Budget Survey, which is undertaken every two years, measures the state of budget transparency, participation and oversight in countries. Based on a list of multi-stakeholder questions, the OBI calculates a composite score for each country, with 100 being the highest score possible. Further information about the methodology of the index can be accessed here.
