On Friday, September 5th, the American Association for the Advancement of Science's Geospatial Technologies and Human Rights Project and On-call Scientists Project will host the workshop, "Using Geospatial Technologies to Support Human Rights Research and Documentation." The workshop will take place both online and at the AAAS headquarters in Washington, DC at 9:00 a.m. At the workshop, experts from AAAS and the Human Rights Project will present how technologies, such as remote sensing, GIS and GPS, can be used for human rights research and documentation.
