ESCR-Net Member, The Border Consortium (TBC), that works together with displaced and conflict-affected people of Burma/Myanmar to address humanitarian needs, recently launched five videos regarding nutrition, natural resource management, food card systems, housing for refugees with special needs, and camp elections within the nine camps they support.

TBC, a non-profit, non-governmental organization, is an alliance of partners working specifically with displaced refugees from Myanmar providing them with shelter and opportunities in Thailand. Not only do they support the humanitarian needs of refugees, yet, they also provide refugees with the resources to develop their management skills and provide support to those with special needs, children, and pregnant women as highlighted in their videos.

TBC’s programs promote their core values: dignity and respect, partnership, empowerment, reliability, and justice and equity within the refugee camps.
