Beyond Coverage: Putting People First in Pennsylvania’s Healthcare System is a report by the National Economic and Social Rights Initiative (NESRI) and Put People First! Pennsylvania. The report is a result of a survey of over 300 people in 43 of 67 counties in Pennsylvania. The report combines data from these surveys with the personal stories of five courageous individuals to reveal the critical ways in which the state’s private, for-profit insurance system is failing to deliver the healthcare that people urgently need.
