This Médecins du monde (MdM) Legal Report on access to healthcare in 12 countries (Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom) analyzes the consequences of legal and financial barriers on the accessibility of screening, treatment and care for HIV, hepatitis and STIs, on sexual and reproductive healthcare services, on vaccinations and paediatric care, and on providing healthcare for migrants.

It is a useful tool for healthcare professionals, researchers, NGOs, policy makers and other stakeholders to better understand the legal and administrative barriers that stop people from taking care of their health. This report aims to broadening existing coalitions, and be a tool to fight for positive changes so that the basic human right to health can be increasingly respected.
