We empower voices from grassroots human rights organizations which traditionally have not used audiovisual media to incorporate video in ways that will complement – not replace – other forms of advocacy.  We support these advocates to identify the audiences they need to reach with their arguments, and to draw on video's unique power to bring these stories as well as the visual “evidence” of a human rights abuses directly to a human rights decision-making body, a government policy-maker, a community, or the global public. WITNESS shares these experiences and best practices as broadly as possible among our partners, our Seeding participants, and other networks of social justice media-makers and users.
