STAR Kampuchea works to educate and empower people to advocate for good governance and sustainable natural resource management. An advocacy and service organization, STAR Kampuchea has worked to improve coordination, effectiveness and credibility of cooperating partner organizations, their advocacy networks and poor and disadvantaged rural communities around issues of critical importance to disadvantaged and poor people in Cambodia. In addition to their work on natural resource governance and management and advancing a program on climate change, STAR Kampuchea has undertaken ongoing work to promote women’s rights related to land in the country. They are also dedicated to building democracy by strengthening civil society in Cambodia.
